Student loans!?
I am a single parent! I have a 1 year old and am 5 months pregnant with my second! I am planning to strt school soon to be a Pharmacy Tech! I got my school paid for but i need to get out like a student loan of some type to help me with bills while i am in school and will not be working full time! I have heard about these loans that you dont have to pay back until 6 months after graduation! Can anyone help me????
How can I speed up paying off my student loans?
I just started paying back my student loans this month and I am already wondering how I could pay them off quick. I have 9000 in loans that are at a variable rate of up to 8.25% and 11000 locked in at 6.8%. I have applied to do EFT which will save me .25%. Any ideas on how to speed up paying off my loans. Also is there any places that help pay off loans?

What is a good company to consolidate private student loans with?
I would like to consolidate my private student loans but don’t want to be subject to the pitfalls of those attractive offers like “Consolidate now and get a check fo $1000.00.” I read the fine print of all the mail offers I receive but I don’t trust any of them enough to persue them. I have about 40k to consolidate and will be returning to school in January to add a few more thousand. Has anyone already consolidated and had a good experience? I would be moving from Sallie Mae as my servicer. Please note, these are for private loans, not federal. Thanks in advance!
I would prefer not to consolidate with Sallie Mae. I had a rather awful experience with them recently and partly look to reconsolidate so that they are no longer my loan servicer .
Can I get student loans to help live on while attending college if i get pell grants?
I am 28, a single mother of 2 and I am looking to finally start attending college this year. I know that I qualify for pell grants and such to pay for tuition but does anyone know if you can recieve student loans on top of that to help with living exspenses while attending classes. I have a job I just cant work full time anymore and attend classes and still be the kind of mother my kids deserve to have. I can still work part time I just need help paying the bills while I’m in school. Please if anyone has any info on this let me know.
How can I find out how many private student loans I have taken out?
It’s about that time for me to start paying back my loans! I’m not at home (michigan) where all of my info and records are- and frankly it might not all be in one spot.
I need to know if there is a number I can call to see how many private (ex: discover, or education one) student loans I have taken out in the past 4 years…
