Is 13,000 in personal loans and credit card debt bad?
I have accumulated 13k in credit card debt and personal loans. I want to get one personal loan to consolidate all the debt. I have about a 630 credit score. However, I can’t seem to get a personal loan to take care of all that debt. What are my options?
I have horrible credit, but need a personal loan to get me back on track. Noone will finance me, any ideas?
I already picked up a second and third job, but getting a personal loan will help me consolidate these debts and make it easier to pay off. I have a motorcycle to put up for a secured loan but not sure of where to go even for that. My credit score is 510 and I need about a 5-7 k loan. Any help in where to go?????
Can I take out a personal loan with Chase bank to pay off medical bills/traffic ticket debts?
I’m currently unemployed and waiting for a phone interview to see if I even qualify for unemployment. I was wondering since the economy and finally getting better and that Chase is a bank that is actually doing quite well, would they allow me to take out a small loan of a few thousand to help me pay off some debts and then just pay them monthly on a plan? I would rather owe them money than the courts and hospitals. Has anyone on here done this?
Is it true the court can send me to jail if I don’t pay my credit card debts and unsecured personal loan?
Is it true that they can arrest me for it?
Guaranteed Bad Credit Personal Loans?
I have been ill for several years now. When I lost my job my daughter and I lost our medical insurance. So I have been using credit cards and falling seriously behond on all my bills creating a very negative credit report.
Now that I am working again and have a good handle on my illness I am ready to wipe out all of my debt. I have created a budget drawn up with all of my debts on a spreadsheet and have figured out that what I need now is a loan to consolidate the debts. I have contacted all of my creditors and worked with them to negotiate the amounts owed, and I know the amounts I negotiated are lower than the amounts that a debt consolidation company would get for me. So I know that I do not need debt consolidation where your credit score gets lower and things get worse before they get better.
We do not have family that can help us out so a high interest loan for people with bad credit is my only option. If you are only going to criticize me or tell me others ways to fix my situation I do not want to hear it.
Student or personal loan for an independent student?
I’m an independent student in my 30’s, have 5-6 months left of college before I can start working full-time again. I’m considering a student loan or personal loan to help cover the bills (mortgage, etc) until then.
I’m financially responsible, good credit… just finding it difficult to keep my part-time job AND focus on all my school work. The last semester is shaping up to be pretty brutal. Ideally, I would like to be able to quit my job and pay all my bills & living expenses out of my savings account and a loan.
I’ve done a little research on student loans — seems like they are mostly going to be sent to the college, or are only for tuition or books.
I anticipate paying off any loan within 6 months of my resuming full-time work, so not too worried about the interest rate.
Need help on:
1) Is this a reasonable course of action, or should I try to keep working?
2) If I did get a loan, should I consider personal or student?
3) Any reliable websites for info?
Thanks!
Are banks able to change interests rates in existing fix-rate personal loans in case of high inflation?
I’m thinking of taking a personal loan with Barclays. It is a fixed rate 5-year loan. Does anyone know if there are any clauses that would allow the bank to change the interest rate in case of high inflation? In other words, even if the inflation raises to 15% or hyper-inflation kicks in will I still be expected to pay only the interests agreed in the contract or does the bank have some ways of adjusting the interests it charges according to increased inflation. Are there any laws that regulate this? Have you heard of any such clauses being used by any of UK banks?
Thanks,
Greg
What are the names of loan companies who deal with bad credit? ( Personal loans)?
Are there any banks that will give out personal loans in San Diego?
I owe someone money and I need to get a loan for about $5000. Is there any bank in San Diego that will loan it to me with a 2 year payment plan?
How do I “secure” a personal loan?
I am planning on a home equity loan but through a relative. They will declare the interest I pay on their taxes. I want to claim the interest I pay on MY taxes, so I need to secure the loan against my property. I have some vague idea of what I need to do but need specifics. Obviously, I would like to spend as little as possible to secure the loan. I live in Maryland. Has anyone done this before? Thanks.
